1 DAY JINJA BUNGEE JUMPING EXPEDITION
This is the most adrenaline raising adventurous activity and its one of those adventures that one must do before he/she dies. Just like rafting, bungee jumping in Uganda is only done in Jinja on R.Nile.
Bungee jumping over the Nile River involves jumping from a platform with a bungee cord connected to two tied legs. Although experience is not required before taking part in the activity, one still needs psychologically set before taking part in this activity. During bungee jumping on the Nile River, Participants are tied in two different ways. There is the ankle tie with your face looking down and the whole body tie allowing you to float like a butterfly. Before the Jump, the instructor counts 1 to 3 before shouting “Bungee” and off you go.
So this adventure will also necessitate you heading to Jinja early in the morning. The good thing with bungee jumping is that it has no set time for being done like other activities like rafting. So with this you can do it at any time of the day that you reach or want to do it since there is also a night session for it after reaching there you will have to do the registration of participants (including making payments) and signing the waiver form. While registering, participants can choose to go for the long or short jump. The long jump goes all the way down enabling one to touch the river Nile itself while the short jump stops midway. So after being filled with this experience, you will either head back to Kampala or take a simple tour around Jinja to various tourist attractions that are found in this district.
